Grupo Insur will build 500 multi-family homes next to the Olivar del Zaudín metropolitan park in Tomares (Seville) over the next five years. The project, in which more than 90 million euros will be invested and will generate more than 2,400 jobs, will mean the creation of a new green neighborhood fully integrated into the city through large avenues, pedestrian areas and educational, sports and of leisure.

"We want to make a city", has indicated the president of Grupo Insur, Ricardo Pumar, in the presentation this Wednesday of this new urban planning that stands out for being the most important to undertake during the next five years in this municipality of Aljarafe.

For this, "the new sports and educational facilities that the City Council will develop in the area and which will serve as a lever for the promotion of this new neighborhood are of capital importance"; an area that will be fully connected to Tomares and Seville.

The president of Grupo Insur, who has been accompanied by the mayor of Tomares, José Luis Sanz, and the head of the Eddea architecture studio, José Luis López, in charge of the design of the new area, stressed that Tomares has always occupied a place preferred in the strategic plans of the Sevillian holding company.

“It is the municipality with the highest per capita income in Andalusia and among the 60 richest in Spain. It is a modern, connected and cosmopolitan city in high demand due to its proximity and excellent communications with the capital Seville ”.

In addition, he said, “it presents a privileged orography that provides the municipality with incredible panoramic views, both of Seville and the parks that the area offers, and its commitment to the quality of life of its citizens is credited with more than 25 parks that it has ”. Tomares is the municipality with the most green areas per number of inhabitants in Andalusia and places it at the forefront of Spain in terms of environmental concern.

The project will have a total of 54,133 square meters of free residential that will be executed in several phases, 17,430 square meters of tertiary land and 3,375 square meters destined to shops on the ground floor.

This important urban planning will result in a residential area composed of three plots in which three developments will be developed that will accommodate about 500 multi-family homes, where terraces and views of nature and the Metropolitan Area of Seville will prevail.
